Italian duo Mathame return with ‘Yogen’, a deeply immersive and emotionally charged track that marks a bold new direction in their evolving sound. Known for their cinematic approach to melodic techno, the brothers now lean further into the dancefloor with a release designed to captivate both mind and movement.
Already tested across some of the world’s biggest stages, including Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and Factory Town, ‘Yogen’ has quickly proven its power in a live setting. Built with precision for club environments, the track balances stripped-back intensity with the atmospheric depth that defines Mathame’s signature style.
At its core, ‘Yogen’ is driven by a looping Japanese mantra that flows hypnotically throughout the production. This recurring vocal element not only adds a spiritual dimension but also reflects the duo’s ongoing fascination with Japanese culture and anime-inspired storytelling. The title itself Yogen (予言), meaning “prophecy” hints at a deeper narrative, positioning the track as a gateway into the next chapter of their artistic universe.
